It isn’t my garage but I designed it and supervised the build. I designed the entire project using CAD software. How cool it is to see the drawings come to life. It gives me pleasure to say that this is something I ‘wrought’!
The interior after the roof was sheathed and fascia trim was going up. Plenty of talented and strong young men (and some not so young) came and helped build the garage. When I’m dead and gone hopefully someone will remember that I had a hand in this project. It’s one of the few things I can leave behind.
The nearly complete garage is 30 feet wide and 26 feet deep. One of the overhead doors is in, the roof is on, the house-wrap is up, windows and man doors are installed. Siding will wait until spring as winter was fast approaching.
The new garage sets behind the ‘Shop’ (which is another of my ‘Wrought’ projects. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to participate in the rebuild of the old common wall garages into a hobby shop with two work rooms and an office. In this view you can see two of the things I ‘wrought’.
